The first module to ethical hacking explain the fundamentals and definitions of some of the basic terms that are used in this course. We are taught how to differentiate the differences between a white hat, black hat and grey hat ethical hacker. There was some background provided on the first hackers and then information on hacktivist organizations like wiki leaks and Anonymous. I learned quite a bit about the different types of attacks, what viruses and malware do, and other denial of service attacks through the last 20 years. I look forward to learning more about hacktivists and how to be a better security engineer.
